BBQ Buckets

Image
Preparing for our camping trip I debated the options on how to cook, gas or bbq. In the end the bbq bucket won because I just love the taste of bbq’d meats. I had it all planned out in my head how I was going to serve a variety of good food whilst in the basicness of camping. This little baby got used twice! For these yummy chickens and for roasted marshmallows! My Bffffffff and F {secret joke} Michele {who’s tent we stayed in} allowed us to use her gas stove, cheating I know! But it was still the best £12 I’ve spent and I can see it becoming a permanent fixture in our lives. Kirsten and Charley love nothing more than to sit in the garden with me at night and now we have this they toast their marshmallows easily and safely. I picked this one up from Sainsbury’s just after their sale, but that’s ok, I did manage to snag me a water filter for half the cost at the same time! {Review on that another day!} Please remember that this should still be used under adult supervision...

Back to the kitchen table!

Share this post : Life without proper internet access is no life at all! I was offered the opportunity to review a well known mobile company’s deal on broadband/phone line so I took it, esp with the personal bonus’s offered for my efforts! However, at first base they failed, they assured me there would be no break between my old provider and them. Erm, 5 days is not a no-break! So who am I reviewing? What is the deal that I am going to be referring to?   So now you know! With this package you (Uk customers) will pay from £5.00 per month for phone and internet. They provide the jazzy router and take care of it all for you, just like other companies. 5 days to change over isn’t really that bad, at this point I am half impressed and half miffed but I am comforted by the fact that the deal I’m on is unlimited download and that means I can now buy as many tracks/albums online as ...

Creatopia - Old but New

Image
I decided to treat myself not too long ago. I got a Creatopia from Create & Craft with a few extras, just to get my creative juices flowing again in the scrapbooking area. When it was delivered I couldn’t wait to open it, set it up and begin my old but new zest for scrapbooking after a 3 year break. I searched you tube for some tutorials cos there was no way I was getting the cutting facility working and it was bugging the heck outta me! My mom came up, played with it and eventually we figured it all out. She’s good like that is my mom! So while I am working on a video tutorial that covers all aspects of putting the Creatopia together I figured I would go through visuals with anyone that is thinking of getting one. I know they have been out for about a year now but not in my house they haven’t! :) This is not an official review, just my personal opinion. So, the actual machine is like this: It requires no electric, no computer and is really easy to use. The Creatopia ...
